Who We Are

Many Hands Lifesharing Community is making our world better by creating an amazing place to live and learn for everyone, regardless of ability.  This better world allows individuals with disabilities, their families and caregivers to live a full, healthy, and meaningful life connected to others.  “Lifesharing” at Many Hands is defined as an environment where staff and individuals with a disability choose to live, grow and support one another.     A close-knit environment allows people of differing abilities and ages to develop relationships through the sharing of mutual needs, respect and fellowship.

Who We Are

Everyone shares their gifts and belongs to the community.  At full capacity, Many Hands will comprise of 100 people of all ages, living full-time on site.  Residents (adults with a disability) represent one third of the 100 person community.  PALs (Professional Advocate Lifesharer, the caregivers) live with the Residents as families in the community’s 8 homes.  Many Hands will provide a setting that cultivates constant and meaningful interactions with others.  PALs are individuals who seek experience working in the disability community as well as people dedicated to giving.
